The immensely popular SKODA Octavia has received a compelling facelift for 2017, boasting a host of all-new features, inside and out.
With all of the details unveiled, fans of the gutsy estate and hatchback models will be spoiled by the wealth of fresh innovation, without straying from SKODA’s statement ‘Simply Clever’ lifeblood.
The body of the new Octavia is beautifully sleek, with vivid LED headlamps to set your route aglow. Inside the cabin, travellers can enjoy an upgraded interior, including customizable ambient lighting and stylish glass housing for the 9.2-inch touchscreen intelligent infotainment system.
SKODA Connect ensures drivers are always at the fore of mobile online services, syncing seamlessly with the user’s smartphone and providing super-fast data transfer. The SmartLink+ platform incorporates Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, MirrorLink and SmartGate, while providing the Octavia with its very own WiFi hotspot and charging facilities.
As always, safety is paramount. The new Octavia goes the extra mile, featuring Trailer Assist, Predictive Pedestrian Protection, Blind Spot Detect and Rear Traffic Alert, keeping your drive time as relaxing and comfortable as possible.
The ride in a new Octavia is impeccably smooth and controlled, thanks to the all-wheel drive of the top spec models, as well as the option of Dynamic Chassis Control to personalise the reaction of the suspension to your own driving style.
Beneath the hood, the new Octavia cuts no corners. Two TSI and three TDI engines offer impressive power output between 115 PS to 184 PS, while two gallant vRS engines to add some serious athleticism to the mix; 2.0 TDI with 184 PS and 2.0 TSI with 230 PS are both on the table, giving the Octavia true sporting credentials.
