SKODA are embracing
the fast lane with the updated Octavia vRS.
As the leading model in the SKODA Octavia series, the vRS already has a strong reputation as a sporting powerhouse; however, the latest update is transcending all previous expectations.
Available as either a hatchback or estate, the Octavia vRS promises versatility as well as a breath-taking drive. A choice of two four-cylinder engines allow you to select what’s under the hood; the 2.0 TDI diesel engine offers the same 135 kW (184 hp) output as the previous model, while the 2.0 TSI petrol engine has risen up the ranks by 7 Kw, boasting a gutsy 169 kW (230 hp) and the title of the fastest series-production SKODA Octavia to date.
Instantly recognisable as a sports vehicle, the vRS includes 15mm lower suspension and a 30 mm wider rear track; set off by 18-inch wheels and striking red brake callipers, the Octavia vRS makes a lasting impression.
Inside the cabin, the vRS hosts the latest technology. Stylishly encased in glass, one will find the latest touchscreen infotainment systems – but the innovation isn’t just for fun. The model also features impeccable driver assistant systems, such as Trailer Assist, Blind Spot Detect and Rear Traffic Alert; in regard to safety, the vRS also offers Crew Protect Assist, which closers windows and sunroofs in the event of a collision. In addition, Front Assist will provide autonomous emergency braking and predictive pedestrian protection.
