SKODA’s bestselling Octavia has been pleasing drivers since 1996, with its endless practicality boasting a classic appeal. Determined to stay ahead of the curve, this family favourite will receive a facelift for the New Year, showing SKODA’s firm dedication to sustaining the model’s popularity.
A new design on both ends of the Octavia will offer a sleek silhouette, with the brand logo made more prominent on the grille; the result is a wider stature, giving the vehicle a stalwart appearance which makes an instant visual impact.
Maintaining its roots as an everyday hero, the new Octavia will feature class-leading space for both passengers and luggage, with an enviable 1782 of interior capacity and 73 millimetres of back seat legroom. Infotainment has also been given a welcome refresh, with three systems available – the Bolero, Amunsden and Columbus. The trio are all designed in a stunning glass housing, responsive to light touch with a host of handy functions. The top spec model, the Columbus, features a full 9.2-inch display with a WLAN hotspot, SIM card model and LTE speed with ultra-fast connection to the Internet; that’s a whole lot of entertainment and connectivity options for fun on the move.
Typically SKODA, the new Octavia will also showcase a range of all-new ‘Simply Clever’ solutions. A customisable key for various vehicle settings, a heated steering wheel, bottle holders and a removable torch (estate only) will add the little touches which make a big difference to your everyday.
Available with two TSI and two TDI engines from launch, deliveries of the new SKODA Octavia will take place in early 2017.
