BMW have taken a step over to the dark side with a new 1 and 3-Series package. Adorning both with the M-Sport badge and throwing a little shade with the Shadow Edition trim, the new facelift is an even edgier take on the compact and mid-size BMW mainstays.
Effortlessly elegant but punching high on performance, the new M-Sport Shadow Edition offers a darkened backdrop to the BMW 1 and 3 Series’ specification, allowing its features to appear even more prominent. Dark headlight housing, a High-gloss Black Kidney Grille, 19” M light alloy wheels and exhaust tailpipes in Dark Chrome (18” on the 1-Series), black door mirrors and a High-gloss Shadowline exterior trim make the new Shadow Edition a spectre on the street.
The 1-Series will also benefit from an all-new dashboard design and an enhanced specification, including Servotronic; light, responsive and controlled steering, for an even more effortless hold on BMW power. The 3-Series will also enjoy Servotronic, as well as LED headlights and foglights as standard, plus an updated instrument panel with decorative stitching line. With added ambient lighting which can be switched between BMW Classic Orange and Cold White LED, the BMW M-Sport Shadow edition is a celebration of dark vs. light, warm vs. cool, performance vs. presence; it simply transcends every tone.
