Every new BMW comes with Roadside Assistance coverage for the first three years of ownership, providing peace of mind for any unexpected situations.
Approved Used BMWs also include a minimum of 12 months of Roadside Assistance coverage. Our experienced multilingual team is available 24/7, 365 days a year, ready to assist whenever you need help. They will first attempt to resolve the issue over the phone to get you back on the road as quickly as possible.
If your vehicle is immobilized due to a mechanical or electrical breakdown, accident, lost keys, misfuelling, fire, theft, or vandalism, we’ll arrange assistance to get you moving again.
Once the initial three-year cover expires, you’ll have the option to purchase a BMW Insured Roadside Assistance policy for continued reassurance.

Our BMW Customer Service Technician will attempt roadside repair whenever possible. They’ll come equipped with the latest BMW Group diagnostic tool and genuine parts, and we’ll send you a tracking link so you can monitor their arrival time.
If your car requires a recovery, we can arrange for it to be transported to a BMW centre convenient to you.
We can arrange a replacement hire car through one of our trusted providers. A valid driving license is required, and standard terms and conditions will apply.
If a hire car isn’t suitable, we’ll assist with alternative travel options, such as public transport or a taxi, to help you reach your destination.
If it’s more convenient for you, we can arrange overnight accommodation if your breakdown occurs more than 50 miles from home. We’ll cover up to £100 for one night’s bed and breakfast for you and your passengers within the UK—or up to four nights if the breakdown happens in Continental Europe.
If you experience a puncture, we’ll attempt to repair the tyre at the roadside. If a temporary fix isn’t possible, we’ll arrange recovery to the nearest BMW Centre for further assistance.
We’ll ensure you stay mobile until your BMW Centre can source and fit a replacement tyre.*
*This applies only to tyres ordered through the BMW Tyre Programme. For all other cases, we’ll provide up to 24 hours of mobility support.
New BMW models come equipped with advanced in-car features, allowing you to contact our dedicated team directly through the iDrive system. In the event of an accident, your vehicle will automatically initiate communication with our team, who will arrange the necessary assistance and contact emergency services if needed.
Roadside Assistance can also be accessed via the My BMW app on your smartphone. This provides immediate access to support and innovative features such as real time roadside technician tracking.
