BMW M3 CS looks like it might be most at home on the racetrack. Cue the first
pleasant surprise of many; it’s as beautiful to drive as it is to behold, with
road handling suitable for those who seek both thrills and leisure.
Utilizing a wealth of carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) in its build, the M3 CS has an impressive kerb weight, complementing its agile capabilities. In addition, more athletic suspension makes every outing feel supple from the driver’s seat, while the entire package is neatly tied up with increased strength, torque and snappy interior design elements.
A six-cylinder in-line engine offers a power increase of 10hp, when compared to the M3 with Competition Package. Courtesy of a 3.0-litre unit, using M TwinPower Turbo technology, a maximum torque of 600Nm is also about 10 per cent higher than the aforementioned package; its blistering output of 4,000rpm to 5,380rpm puts the M3 CS on a pedestal with the supercars of your dreams.
Galloping from zero to 62mph in a mere 3.9 seconds, you’ll be on the edge of your seat, while still having perfect command of the road – All while limited to 174mph.
