Ford Assistance is a roadside rescue, repair and recovery service that helps you at home or anywhere in Europe, seven days a week, 365 days a year, available on the following vehicles:
Every new Ford Commercial Vehicle - free Ford Assistance for one year (excluding Motability).
All Ford Direct Used Commercial Vehicle – free Ford Assistance for a minimum of 18 months.
How it works
If your vehicle breaks down, you simply call Ford Assistance and we’ll get someone out to you as fast as we can.
If we cannot arrange a local repair within a reasonable time, recovery of the vehicle will be available.

Additional information for Fleet customers
Your new Ford Passenger Vehicle will have a minimum of 12 months cover from the date of registration. Your vehicle may have been sold under a contract which may specify a longer period of Ford Assistance – please speak to your Fleet contact for further information.
Your new Ford Commercial Vehicle (including Transit, Transit Custom. Transit Connect and Ranger) will have a minimum of 12 months cover from the date of registration. The majority of Fleet Commercial Vehicles will have 3 years cover from the date of registration. Some vehicles will have a longer period of Ford Assistance depending upon the agreement within the contract – please speak to your Fleet contact for further information.
UK & European Roadside Assistance with a Ford Service. Every new Ford passenger car and commercial vehicle comes with 12 months free Ford Assistance, a roadside rescue, repair and recovery service that helps you at home or anywhere in Europe, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
But did you know you can renew this with a Ford Scheduled Service or Convenience Check at a participating Ford Dealer? That means you’ll receive UK & European Roadside Assistance valid from the date of service for 12 months, or until the next service is due, whichever comes first. That’s on top of expert service specifically tailored to your vehicle needs from Ford-trained Technicians using genuine Ford parts.
How it works
If your vehicle breaks down, simply call us and we’ll get someone out to you as fast as we can. If we’re unable to fix the problem there and then, we can help you in other ways such as providing a replacement vehicle, organising costs for alternative travel to your destination or even covering hotel accommodation for you and your passengers. If you break down in Europe and we’re unable to fix your vehicle, we can arrange for it to be sent to one UK address (for example: home, work, or a Ford dealer). Ford Service Assistance is available 24 hours a day, all year round, with just one phone call, wherever you are in Europe.

Ford Service Activated Assistance
Promotion applies to Ford retail, Privilege and Ambassador customers owning a Ford car or commercial vehicle excluding fleet, having a Ford Scheduled Service completed at participating dealers only and cannot be taken in conjunction with any other promotion.
Ford Service Assistance is available at participating dealers only for Ford cars and commercial vehicles regardless of age or mileage and is valid from the date of service for 12 months, or until the next service is due, whichever comes first. Includes European and UK mainland roadside assistance and repair and towing to a Ford Dealer - see full terms and conditions in the PDF below, for countries covered. Ford UK and European Roadside Assistance applies to the serviced vehicle only. If you already have personal membership cover please contact your roadside assistance provider to discuss options available to you, e.g. policy suspension.
For taxis, rental cars, ambulances and driving school cars the service is limited to roadside assistance repair or towage to the nearest Ford authorised dealer.
