For the new generation of our most iconic, urban-centric SUV, we started with the EV variant to bring technology-led design thinking to the entire KONA range, including all-electric (EV), hybrid electric (HEV), and internal combustion engine (ICE) models. The clean and distinctive front of the all-new KONA contributes to the model's smooth aerodynamic performance.

Futuristic appearance

Despite its futuristic appearance, the all-new KONA never lets one forget that it’s an SUV. Its dynamic styling is accentuated with boldly sculpted wheel arch cladding that incorporates headlamps and rear lights, reinforcing KONA’s robust underpinning.

Parametric surfaces

The sharp diagonal crease of the sides connects the chrome molding from the belt line to the spoiler, creating a contour that wraps around the entire vehicle.

Forward Collison-Avoidance Assist

Sensing the road ahead with radar and a camera, the FCA system automatically brakes if the vehicle ahead suddenly slows down or if it detects pedestrians on the road.

Blind Spot Collison-avoidance Assist

Using the two lower sensors in the rear bumper, the system warns you of traffic in the blind spots. If you set the turn indicator in a such a situation, it will sound an acoustic alert and applies the brake if necessary.

Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist

When reversing out of areas with low visibility, the system not only warns you when vehicles approach from the side, it also applies the brakes automatically.

Reverse Parking Collison-Avoidance Assist

If an obstacle is detected via the rear-view camera or rear ultrasonic sensors, PCA will display a warning and if necessary it applies the brake.

Lane Keeping Assist

Uses the front camera to monitor the lines of the road. In case of an unintended lane departure, it will warn you and apply the counter steering torque to guide the car back to the lane.

Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go

Maintains a set distance to the vehicle ahead and automatically reduces or increases speed to a pre-set limit. In 'stop&go' traffic, the set distance is maintained.

Remote Smart Parking Assist

The all-new KONA can remotely back into and drive forward out of a parking spot by itself at the touch of a button.

Intelligent Speed Limit Assist

This semi-autonomous driving feature recognises road speed signs and adjusts vehicle speed to match the speed limit.

Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control

Utilises the state-of-the-art navigation system to anticipate upcoming curves or straight paths on highways and adjusts speed for safer driving.

Driver Attention Warning

Monitors the driver's attention level while driving. Provides a warning when signs of driver inattentiveness are detected and recommends a rest if needed.
