The all-new KONA’s futuristic design combines a clean, distinctive front end with aerodynamic flowing lines. It’s dynamic styling is accentuated with boldly sculpted wheel arch cladding that incorporates the headlamps and tailamps.

KONA Hybrid

The all-new KONA Hybrid shares its design with the all-new KONA, with a bold and rugged bumper and skid plate design, and black wheel arch cladding.

KONA Electric

The all-new KONA Electric features pixel graphic details on the intake grille and rear bumper, a pixel-inspired alloy wheel design, aerodynamic side sill, black embracing line and optional black side mirrors and roof.

Appearance

Upscaled KONA conveys more dynamic road presence, accommodates more ‘living space’

The all-new KONA has evolved into a larger yet still urban-centric SUV with bolder styling that conveys a more dynamic road presence and driver-centric interior.

To provide maximised ‘living space’ for customers, the all-new model is 4,355 mm in length, which is 150 mm longer from the previous generation, based on the EV variant.

It also gained 25 mm in width and 60 mm in wheelbase length compared to the outgoing model without losing any of its iconic design identity.

Exterior

For the new generation of our most iconic, urban-centric SUV, we started with the EV variant to bring technology-led design thinking to the entire KONA range, including all-electric (EV), hybrid electric (HEV), and internal combustion engine (ICE) models. The clean and distinctive front of the all-new KONA contributes to the model's smooth aerodynamic performance.

Futuristic appearance

Despite its futuristic appearance, the all-new KONA never lets one forget that it’s an SUV. Its dynamic styling is accentuated with boldly sculpted wheel arch cladding that incorporates headlamps and rear lights, reinforcing KONA’s robust underpinning.

Parametric surfaces

The sharp diagonal crease of the sides connects the chrome molding from the belt line to the spoiler, creating a contour that wraps around the entire vehicle.

Urban-centric SUV

The all-new KONA has evolved into a larger yet still urban-centric SUV with bolder styling that conveys a more dynamic road presence and driver-centric interior.

Seamless Horizon Lamp

The front of the all-new KONA is highlighted by the stretched Seamless Horizon Lamp, which is pixelated on the EV variant, making the first Hyundai model with a Pixelated Seamless Horizon Lamp that adds to the EV’s distinctive character.

The all-new KONA brims with the latest advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), clever technology for safe-assured parking and a wide range of driving convenience functions.

Forward collision-avoidance assistance

Fast and smooth downshifts. Rev-matching synchronises engine speed to input shaft speed for the next gear, reducing wear and enhancing durability.​

Blind spot collision-avoidance assist 

Using two door radar sensors in the lower rear bumper, the system warn you of traffic in the blind spot area. If you set the turn indicator in such a situation, it will sound an acoustic alert and applies the brake to prevent collision.​

Rear cross-traffic collision-avoidance assist

When reversing out of areas with low visibility, the system not only warns you when vehicles approach from the side but also applies the brakes automatically.​

Reverse parking collision-avoidance assist

If an obstacle is detected via the rear-view camera or rear ultrasonic sensors, PCA will display a warning and apply the brakes if necessary.​

Lane keeping assist

Uses the front camera to monitor the lines of the road. In case of unintended lane departure, it will warn you and can apply counter steering torque to guide the car ack to the lane.​

Smart cruise control with stop & go

Maintains a set distance to the vehicle ahead and automatically reduces or increases speed to a pre set limit. In stop & go traffic, the set distance is maintained.​

Remote smart parking assist

The all-new KONA can remotely back into and drive forward out of a parking spot by itself at the touch of a button on the smart key.​

Intelligent speed limit assist

When activated, this semi-autonomous driving feature recognises road speed signs and adjusts vehicle speed to match the speed limit​

Navigation-based smart cruise control 

Utilises the state-of-the-art navigation system to anticipate upcoming curves or straight paths on highways and adjusts speed for safer driving.

Driver attention warning

Monitors the driver's attention level while driving. Provides a warning when signs of driver inattentiveness are detected and recommends a rest if needed.
