MINI is ready to take centre stage at IAA Cars 2017, with a fresh-out-the-bag MINI John Cooper Works GP Concept.
Celebrating a rich history on the racing circuit, MINI is releasing the images of its latest concept on the 50th anniversary of the brand’s Monte Carlo Rally victories. MINI may be better known today as a compact city slicker, but its proportions have traditionally made it the perfect small car to hare around tight bends and enjoy all the thrills of track driving.
The new GP Concept will show off innovative production techniques like 3D printing and 3D knitting, providing a wealth of pleasing options for intricate customisation. In addition, a visual feast of race track-inspired aesthetics including front air deflectors, elliptical headlights, hexagonal radiator grille and a roof spoiler make this MINI an exciting look to the future, while still offering a nod to the past.
