If your MINI is over three years old, it now requires an annual MOT inspection. It's a standard inspection of over 150 safety-related and emission systems, including lights, steering, brakes and suspension. Nobody knows your MINI like we do, so you can rest assured that our MINI Trained Technicians will treat your car with the specialist care and attention it deserves. Thanks to MINI's engineering standards, passing should be a formality but there's always a chance that something could have been damaged without you realising it.
The official MOT test is a useful annual safety check - and we are the ideal people to take care of the test and any required repair work. We have specialised MINI training and only use Genuine MINI Parts to replace like-for-like, if necessary, which come with a two-year warranty for extra peace of mind. To make sure your MINI is looking its best when you head back out on the road, we’ll even throw in a free wash and vacuum to seal the deal.
Once your vehicle has passed, you will receive the official VT20 certificate which is your receipt for the MOT test and shows the information that will be held on the MOT database. If your vehicle should require any recommended additional work this will be listed on the advisory notice of the VT32 document.
MINI MOT Protect is now included on all MINI models so, in the unlikely event that your MINI should fail its first MOT, we will cover the cost of repair or replacement on an impressive array of bits and bobs from electrical and lighting equipment to steering and suspension. Plus, we’ll also pay the labour costs so you won't lose out.
