MINI have released a first glimpse of their all-electric concept vehicle, in advance of its official unveiling at the Frankfurt Motor Show from Saturday the 16th of September.
Taking MINI’s instantly-recognisable bodywork and underlining it with a futuristic twist, the ELECTRIC CONCEPT promises a thrilling drive alongside zero emissions, as well as versatile performance for both urban and rural adventures. With a production version due for release in 2019, the MINI ELECTRIC CONCEPT closely follows its electrified sibling, the MINI Countryman Plug-In Hybrid.
Stylish and sporty, the ELECTRIC CONCEPT is innovative from the second it grabs your eye. The aptly-named Striking Yellow accents provide extra prominence to the MINI’s signature wide stance and cascading silhouette, while a fresh 3D printing process allows for previously unseen versatility in regard to customised and limited-edition parts.
We can’t wait for MINI to finally flip the switch on the new model in 2019!
