Last night the prestigious Car Dealer Used Car Awards returned to a physical event at the Brewery in the City of London with Marshall picking up a quartet of accolades.
Marshall were shortlisted in the following categories:
Dealers’ Dealer – Daksh Gupta, Chief Executive
Used Car Dealer Principal - James Fackrell, Marshall Volkswagen Taunton
Used Commercial Vehicle Dealer – Marshall Mercedes-Benz Truck & Van
Used Car Dealership Group

….. the great news is that Marshall walked away with two “Highly Commended” and two “Winner” awards! A fantastic result!
Firstly, congratulations to our marketing and digital teams who continued their fantastic run of awards (their 26th and 27th industry digital marketing accolade since 2015) with “Highly Commended” in the both Social Media and Used Car Website categories.
Our first win came compliments of MarshallMercedes-Benz Truck & Van who picked up the Used Commercial Vehicle Dealer award from Mike Brewer, presenter of ‘Wheeler Dealers’ beating off very strong competition in this inaugural category. Well done to our commercial vehicle teams in Marshall Truck & Van.
The evening was topped off with our Chief Executive, Daksh Gupta, receiving one of the night’s headline awards, Outstanding Achievement of the Year, to a rapacious standing ovation.
Daksh commented: “I am really humbled to win this award which I accept on behalf of all the team at Marshall. It’s down to the support of our amazing colleagues, our amazing board and amazing business partners. Our collective performance over the last 18 months is testament to our positive working environment and above and beyond culture. Thank you.”
Overall, a very successful evening. These four awards (and also those shortlisted) are further evidence that Marshall Motor Group are recognised, yet again, against the best of the best in the motor trade.
This evening is the Motor Trader Awards from London’s Grosvenor House Hotel where Marshall are in the running with eight shortlisted in five categories. We look forward to hearing the results and, with a bit of luck, being able to further celebrate the dedication of talent within Marshall for the second night running!
