We are delighted to announce the sponsorship extension of Fallon “The Queen of the Palace" Sherrock until the end of 2023 – further increasing her ambassador role and Marshall’s presence in the sport.
Fallon became the first woman to win a match at the PDC World Championship beating Ted Evetts and Mensur Suljovic in 2020 tournament and has won several professional titles on the BDO Women’s Tour and also been runner-up in the World Masters. However, it was her trailblazing triumphs at the PDC World Championship that saw her become a household name. Sparkling performances in 2021 has seen Fallon reach the final of the 2021 Nordic Darts Masters, top the 2021 Women's Series events and secure her place back at Alexandra Palace for the 2022 PDC World Darts Championship (December 2021-January 2022).
Marshall’s darts sponsorship stable includes World #1 and the 2021 PDC World Champion, Gerwyn “Iceman” Price, Simon “The Wizard” Whitlock, Joe “The Rockstar” Cullen, Luke "Cool Hand" Humphries and four time TV title winner of the year (2021 Masters, Premier League, World Grand Prix and World Series of Darts) Jonny “The Ferret” Clayton.
Fallon, like the rest of the partnerships, will carry prominent Marshall branding on their competition shirts exposing the Marshall brand to a highly loyal (and large TV) audience which has seen a renaissance in the last 18 months as tournaments were paused due to the pandemic. In addition Fallon will participate in social engagement programmes, personal appearances plus virtual meet and greets and prize giveaways.
Marshall Motor Group’s CEO, Daksh Gupta said: “We are thrilled to extend our sponsorship with Fallon Sherrock – one of darts’ icons whose popularity and fantastic performances at the World Championships and in September’s Nordic Masters has transcended the sport.”
Daksh continued “Fallon proudly represents our aim and a commitment to achieve a better gender balance within our commercial sponsorships. This aligns with our business goals and the aim of filling 30% of key leadership positions with women by 2030 through a “30 by 30” strategy.”
You can see Gerwyn Price, Jonny Clayton, Luke Humphries, Joe Cullen and Fallon Sherrock and the Marshall brand in action this weekend (Saturday 13 November) until Sunday 21 November live on Sky Sports in the Grand Slam of Darts, taking place in Wolverhampton.
