The Citigo comes with daytime running lights as standard, while SE grades add body-coloured door handles and door mirrors. Monte Carlo trims come with 15-inch alloy wheels, a lowered suspension, front fog lamps and much more. A four-seat cabin features a telescopic steering wheel and speed-sensitive power steering – and cargo capacity that starts at 251 litres, rising to 951 litres when rear seats are folded. SE grades come with air-conditioning and 60/40 split-folding rear seats, while Monte Carlo trims add a range of sporty elements, such as red and black upholstery.
Entry-level S grades are fitted with a 1.0-litre 59bhp petrol engine that produces CO2 emissions as low as 105g/km, and returns as much as 62.8mpg. A CD player and AUX input come as standard, and Monte Carlo grades add four extra loudspeakers and a range of infotainment features. Awarded a five-star rating by Euro NCAP, the Citigo’s safety elements include Electronic Stability Control, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, seatbelt pre-tensioners and load-limiters and seatbelt reminders.
