The Land Cruiser is now available to order at Marshall Toyota.
The Toyota Land Cruiser is an immensely capable off-roader that offers an unrivalled performance on challenging terrain. Its military heritage is clear in its design – the Toyota Land Cruiser is a very reliable vehicle and its off-road abilities are second to none. It’s also a comfortable family car, with all of the advanced technologies and luxury features to deliver a comfortable journey experience. There are three trim levels to choose from: Active, Icon and Invincible.
Exterior design
The Toyota Land Cruiser demonstrates its intent from the very start, with bold styling that emphasises its rugged qualities. With high ground clearance, chunky wheel arches, running boards and roof rails, there is no doubt that this car was built to be practical. There are also plenty of stylish details, including 17-inch alloy wheels and LED headlights as standard on the Active grade. The Icon and Invincible grades include 18-inch alloy wheels and a chrome front grille to add a touch of class.
Interior design
The luxurious interior offers plenty of space and a high level of equipment as standard across the range. The entry-level Active model has smart entry and an inviting start button as standard, along with dual-zone climate control. Upgrade to the Icon grade for leather upholstery and heated seats. The range-topping Invincible grade also features an electric sunroof, with optional beige leather and wood inserts placed tastefully around the cabin.
Performance
The Toyota Land Cruiser is powered by a 2.8-litre diesel engine with a power output of 174bhp and four-wheel drive. On the road this car is smooth and composed, but it comes into its own when you venture off road. With a low-ratio gearbox and lockable centre differential, the Toyota Land Cruiser is equipped to perform in the wilderness. When this engine is paired with a manual gearbox the Toyota Land Cruiser accelerates from 0-60mph in just under 12 seconds, or 12.5 seconds with the automatic transmission.
Technology and safety
Toyota has equipped the Toyota Land Cruiser with plenty of high-end technologies, including its Toyota Touch 2 infotainment system. The Icon grade boasts satellite navigation and a premium 14-speaker JBL sound system, and the Invincible variant adds a Blu-ray system to keep rear passengers entertained. The Invincible trim also has the most safety features, including active systems to enhance the Toyota Land Cruiser’s off-road performance and towing abilities.
