Bold and Pure Design

The Astra Electric has the same stylish design and advanced features as the hybrid, petrol, and diesel versions, but with the added benefit of being fully electric.

The interior features a 20-inch Pure Panel Pro touchscreen infotainment system that displays battery charge status and range, as well as other exciting features such as "Hey Vauxhall" natural voice recognition, IntelliLux LED® pixel headlights, and ergonomic active seats.

The Astra Electric has already won the "Top Gear Best Family Hatch 2022" award, so it's clear that it has a lot to offer. With its fully electric powertrain, it's now even more appealing to families and individuals who are looking for a stylish, practical, and environmentally friendly car.

Fully electric

The Astra Electric is powered by a 114kW electric motor, with a 54kWh battery, achieving a WLTP-certified range of up to 258 miles*.

Like the rest of our all-electric lineup, the Astra supports 100kW rapid chargers, so you can charge up to 80% in only 30 minutes.

The Electric powertrain has the following features to ensure you get the most of the Astra:

  • Three powerful driving modes to match your journey, road conditions and mood. Choose Sport mode which adds to the fun. Or Eco mode which will help maximise your range. Normal mode gives you the best of both.
  • The Vehicle Data Monitoring systems keep you in the know and in command. Providing an intuitive overview of driving conditions and energy consumption. All streamed to the Pure Panel® display cluster in a stylishly simple, digitally detoxed flow.
  • Energy recovery system, recapturing power normally lost while braking and decelerating.

Astra Electric Sports Tourer

Astra Sports Tourer Electric is Vauxhall's first fully electric estate and just one of three electric estates on sale in the UK.

The Astra Sports Tourer Electric comes with 516 litres of luggage space with the rear seats up, increasing to 1,553 litres when folded. With the battery housed in the vehicle’s underbody, it ensures there is no compromise in passenger room or luggage space.

The Vauxhall Vizor front end is a single, sleek panel that houses the LED headlights, front camera, and various driver and safety aids. It gives the Astra Sports Tourer a sharp, modern look.

Vauxhall*Fuel economy and CO2 results for the Vauxhall Astra Electric 114KW (158PS). Mpg (l/100km): N/A. CO2 emissions: 0g/km. Electric range up to 258 miles (WLTP). The range and electric consumption figures mentioned are preliminary and comply with the WLTP test procedure, on the basis of which new vehicles are type approved from 1 September 2018. They may vary depending on actual conditions of use and on different factors such as: vehicle load, accessories fitted (post registration), speed, thermal comfort on board the vehicle, driving style and outside temperature. The charging time depends in particular on the power of the charger on board the vehicle, the charging cable and the type and power of the charging station used. Please contact your Vauxhall Retailer for further information.

**You can obtain 15-80% of the vehicle charge in 30 minutes from a 100kW rapid charging station. The vehicle will rapid charge at a rate of up to 100kW, depending on the power of the rapid charging station used and will take longer to charge at a lower power. Rapid charging stations are available across the UK at various locations and their power rating varies, typically from 50kW and sometimes up to 350kW. For further information on public charging stations across the UK, please visit here.

Cars

WLTP Figures shown are for comparison purposes and should only be compared to the fuel consumption and CO2 values of other cars tested to the same technical standard. The fuel consumption achieved, and CO2 produced, in real world conditions will depend upon a number of factors including, but not limited to: the accessories fitted (pre and post registration); variations in weather; driving styles and vehicle load. The WLTP (Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure) is used to measure fuel consumption and CO2 figures. The CO2 figures display a range to reflect the highest value for the highest emitting version with all available options added, through to a minimum value to represent the lowest emitting version in standard specification.
