The new Vauxhall Insignia range has been injected with some added brawn, thanks to the all-new Insignia Country Tourer; an all-wheel drive adventurer, with a host of innovative technologies to make leaving the beaten track an effortless, fun and fearless experience.
Boasting a new, range-topping diesel engine, the Country Tourer will also benefit from a new eight-speed transmission, featuring trailblazing all-wheel drive capability. In addition, an extra 20mm of ground clearance, torque vectoring and five-link rear suspension make light work of rough terrain, with two electric multi-place clutches sending the most efficient amount of power to each individual wheel; it’s all the muscle you need, exactly where you need it, without collateral waste.
With road conditions being potentially variable, a FlexRide chassis also provides added comfort and competence to the Insignia Country Tourer’s multi-terrain trips. Automatically adapting the dampers, steering, throttle response and shift points (on automatic models), or based on the driver’s selection of ‘Standard’, ‘Sport’ or ‘Tour’ modes, FlexRide ensures that the Country Tourer remains agile and at ease, wherever you may roam.
