The first pictures of the new Vauxhall Insignia GSi have been revealed, in advance of the official release at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show.
The high-performance sibling to Vauxhall’s bellwether model, the Insignia GSi reels off an impressive spec from the off; all-wheel drive, Brembo brakes, a new chassis, 2.0-litre engine and an eight-speed automatic gearbox combine for an exhilarating drive, perfectly complimented by paddle-shift on the steering wheel for an energetic, yet controlled, forward thrust.
A low centre of gravity, lightweight chassis and turbocharged power output allow for a perfectly balanced power-to-weight ratio, producing a gallant 260PS and 400Nm of torque from a 2.0-litre petrol engine.
We look forward to the lid being officially lifted in Frankfurt!
