Not only have BMW enjoyed their most prosperous July to date, but also a new personal record for electric vehicle deliveries.
BMW Group sales in July have climbed a pleasing 0.4% to 180,726, but the hottest achievement has been the upsurge in EV. Year-to-date sales have risen by a huge 74.8%, with 50,711 vehicles registered; in fact, BMW have cemented their position as the 3rd biggest BEV/PHEV manufacturer on the globe, with the BMW i3 confirmed as the best-selling compact battery-electric car in the Premium Segment.
So far in 2017, BMW have shifted over 50,000 BMW i, BMW iPerformance and electric MINI vehicles; a sign of a significant shift in customer preferences.
