Six decades ago the first MINI was unveiled and it captured the imagination of the world, revolutionising the compact car segment. 2019 marks the brand’s 60 th birthday and to mark this auspicious occasion, MINI is introducing a limited number of 500 very special vehicles, the MINI 60 Years Edition. It’s a celebration of everything that makes MINI, MINI, from the unique go-kart handling to our ever recognisable design.
The MINI 60 Years Edition is the first of many celebrations planned for 2019 that will champion the brand’s rich heritage in Britain. The limited edition will be finished in an exclusive ‘British Racing Green IV’ exterior paint finish and piano black exterior trim, black roof and exterior mirror caps, special anniversary design bonnet stripes and model exclusive 17-inch light alloy wheels.
The left-hand bonnet stripe, indicators and puddle projectors will also all feature 60 Years Edition emblems, alongside an additional set of MINI spot lamps fitted to the front radiator grille.
The limited edition vehicle also has a distinctly designed interior including exclusive leather seats that are finished in Dark Cacao combined with contrast seat stitching and piping matching the new green exterior paintwork.
The MINI 3-door Hatch Cooper S 60 Years Edition accelerates from zero to 62 mph in just 6.7 seconds, the same time as in the standard car and will be offered exclusively with an automatic transmission in the UK.

Plus pack is included, providing a larger 8.8” touch display with Satellite
Navigation, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth connectivity, concierge service and
wireless charging. In addition, the Comfort Plus Pack provides a rear view
camera, folding exterior mirrors and front and rear Park Distance Control
(PDC).
As with all MINI Hatch models, this unique edition vehicle includes LED front and rear lights, intelligent emergency call, ambient lighting, automatic headlights with rain sensor and much more.
A limited number of 500 MINI 60 Years Edition vehicles will be available in the UK from March 2019, priced at £29,990 OTR.
