THE VARIOUS POSSIBILITIES OF DOMESTIC CHARGING SOCKETS

In order to benefit from all the advantages of plug-in hybrid vehicles, Peugeot​ recommends daily charging. In a single-family home, apartment block or at work, recharge your electric vehicle: our charging solutions adapt to you.

Domestic Charging Socket

From your mobile, charge your electric car from a standard socket and the standard on-board charger. An accessory cable is available to purchase for this method of charging, although it is not our recommended method of daily charging. 

Wall Box

Using a Wall Box saves you a significant charging time with the optional on-board charger. The cable needed for this type of charginis supplied with your vehicle.

Charge your plug-in hybrid car where it is most often parked: at home! To significantly reduce the charging time, you should install a wall box at your property.

Peugeot has selected PodPoint, with their expertise and unique network of qualified technicians providing coverage of the UK, as its partner for the installation of your charging stations in an individual house.

PUBLIC CHARGING

You can charge your car across the UK using the public charging network, allowing you to travel around the country and charge as you do. In partnership with Zap Map, you can find your local public chargers here.

Delayed charging 

Take advantage of the off-peak tariff to program or start charging your electric car remotely and follow its progress directly from the MyPeugeot pp. For more peace of mind, be notified as soon as the battery is full or the charge is interrupted. ​

Service activation 

Both these services are available via the free e-Remote control service, available in the MyPeugeot application. You'll need to create a MyPeugeot account in order to activate the free subscription. ​

Pre-heating/conditioning

If your car is already charging enjoy maximum driving range while enjoying optimum comfort at 21 degree inside. Whatever the outside temperature, start heating or air conditioning the passenger compartment of your car from your smartphone using the MyPeugeot app. You can also schedule pre-heating/cooling depending on your schedule.
