The Peugeot Partner is a flexible mid-size van that comes with cost-effective engine options and provides a comfortable ride.

Design

The car-like Partner is available in two body styles: Panel Van and Crew Van, and in three trim levels. The former comes in S, SE, SE Electric and Professional grades. The latter is available as an S trim only, with two sliding side doors that provide easy access to the rear compartment. All models feature 180-degree-opening asymmetric rear doors, electrically operated door mirrors, height-adjustable headlights and a high-mounted brake light.

The Partner comes in a choice of Bianca White or Ardent Red liveries as standard, and a range of optional solid paint and metallic colours are available, including Clipper Blue, Shark Grey and Pure Black.

The driver benefits from height-adjustable seating and a rake-and-reach-adjustable steering wheel. Other standard features include power-assisted steering, electric windows (one-touch on the driver’s side), directional heating and air-recycling, four dashboard air vents and two 12-volt power points. Cruise control is available with SE grades and higher, while air-conditioning is a feature of SE Electric and Professional trims. Load space ranges from 3,300 litres to 4,100 litres, depending on the model and configuration that you select

Performance

A 1.6-litre 98bhp petrol engine, paired with a five-speed manual gearbox, is available as standard. The most-fuel efficient option available for the Partner is a 1.6-litre 90bhp diesel unit, paired with six-speed semi-automatic transmission. Naturally, the all-electric SE Electric grade produces zero emissions.

Technology and safety

An MP3-compatible CD player and an AM/FM radio are standard inclusions, both of which can be operated using steering wheel-mounted controls. A DAB radio and Bluetooth and USB connectivity are available with Professional trims.

Whenever the vehicle’s brakes are applied with heavy pressure, hazard lights are automatically activated. Other standard safety features include, Electronic Stability Control and a driver’s airbag, while side airbags are optional with SE grades and higher.
