The all-new Transporter surpasses its award-winning predecessors in every meaningful way. With its distinctive VolkswagenCommercial Vehicles design, significantly enhanced performance, and a host of new, future-ready features, it offers not only improved ride comfort and increased loading volume, but also greater versatility.

Bigger loads, better performance

The all-new Transporteroffers a larger load compartment and increased payload capacity, effortlessly handling substantial loads without sacrificing manoeuvrability. Wide opening load compartment doors and an impressive 1,392 mm width between wheelarches make it easier than ever to transport Euro pallets and the load compartment has been increased to 5.8 m³ for short-wheelbase and 6.8m³ for long-wheelbase models, expanding up to 9m³ with high roof models (coming in 2026).

The TDI model offers a maximum payload of up to 1.2 tonnes and a towing capacity of up to 2.8 tonnes, variant depending. The load compartment is 61 mm longer than in Transporter 6.1 and for the first time ever, over 3 metres long in the long wheelbase option. The interior can be customized with partition walls to suit your needs, and you have the option to choose between a tailgate or wide-opening wing doors.

A cockpit designed for the future 

Work meets comfort in the all-new Transporter. The high-quality modern equipment, as well as the design and materials used complement the clear dashboard and high seating position, making the cabin more car-like and comfortable. Modern assistance systems simplify your workday, while ergonomic seats provide support for long drives, and the options like the 230V power hub ensure convenience within reach.

Also included is a new multi-function steering wheel, designed for use even while wearing gloves. The configurable 12-inch instrument cluster, 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and DAB+ radio, along with wireless App Connect, will enhance your driving experience. With VW Connect⁴ mobile online services, you can connect your vehicle to your smartphone effortlessly and keep track of all key services and functions, even when you're not in your Volkswagen.

All-new e-Transporter

All-electric models from £46,349 OTR (£37,800 excl. VAT) including PiVG deduction^2,6

The all-new Transporter will offer a wider range of drive options than ever before. For the first time, you can choose between a turbodiesel (TDI), all-electric (e-Transporter), or plug-in hybrid (eHybrid) coming in 2026.

All-electric models provide an impressive power output of 136 PS or 218 PS depending on trim.

The e-Transporter comes with rear-wheel drive, with an all-wheel drive version available at a later date. In addition to standard diesel model specification, the all-electric model also features individually controllable heated seats, heat pump, single-zone automatic air conditioning and all-season tyres with Commerce Plus, or heated multi-function steering wheel and full LED rear lights with exclusive light signature with Commerce Pro.

Advanced safety and driver assistance systems as standard

With safety at the forefront of the all-new Transporter, the standard equipment will include Autonomous Emergency Braking to detect potential collisions, Lane Assist to help keep you on track and side curtain airbags to provide additional protection in the event of a collision.

You will also find features like Dynamic Road Sign Display and Intelligent Speed Assist, ensuring you’re always aware of speed limits and road conditions. When it comes to manoeuvring in tight spaces, the standard rear parking sensors will make manoeuvres easier and help reduce the risk of costly parking scrapes. On Commerce Plus and Commerce Pro trims, front parking sensors and rear view camera come as standard, with an option to upgrade to a 360-degree area view camera for the first time on a Transporter.

VolkswagenCommercial Vehicles UK’s recommended OTR includes: delivery to Van Centre, number plates, new vehicle registration fee, the first year's Vehicle Excise Duty and VAT (calculated at 20%). Pricing subject to change including in the event of change in the applicable VED or VAT rates. 3. Payload = gross vehicle weight minus unladen weight. Quoted weights are for vehicles with standard specification. Unladen weight and payload may be influenced by trimline, factory options and Van Centre fitted accessories.

4. To use We Connect/VW Connect services, you need a Volkswagen ID user account and must log in to We Connect/VW Connect with your user name and password. A separate We Connect/VW Connect contract or We Connect Plus/VW Connect Plus contract will also need to be made online with Volkswagen AG. For We Connect Plus/VW Connect Plus you have 90 days after the handover of the vehicle to register the vehicle.

6. The Plug-in Van Grant (PIVG) is a grant currently offered by the Office for Zero emission Vehicles (OZEV) to eligible manufacturers to promote the purchase of ultra low emission vehicles. The all-new e-Tranporter is eligible for the PiVG, meaning customers purchasing an all-new e-Tranporter will receive 35% off the purchase price, up to a maximum of £5,000 (subject to an overall limit of 1000 van or truck grants per business or organisation, across all manufacturers, each year being 1 April – 31 March). The £5,000 grant has already been deducted from the ‘Total RRP inc. OTR inc. VAT inc. Plug-in Van Grant price shown (and therefore the recommended ‘On the road’ price will increase in the event that grant funding is ultimately not applicable, withdrawn, or eligibility for the grant or the grant amount changes, for any reason, or the annual limit is exceeded). Your authorised Volkswagen Van Centre will submit the details of your order online in order to claim the grant funding. The grant is subject to full T&Cs and eligibility requirements.
