Audi Motability at Marshall Audi

Latest Motability Scheme updates regarding COVID-19

The Government announcements regarding COVID-19 are having a major impact on the Motability Scheme. All of our Audi Centres are now closed meaning they are unable to accept any new orders, manage handovers or car returns.

In addition, as Motability are unable to accept any new orders, they have also not updated the prices for the Motability Scheme that would normally become available on 1 April 2020. We are of course in touch with Motability and will advise when this changes.

You can also check out the latest information from Motability here.

For those customers approaching the end of their lease, Motability will automatically extend the lease for six months. There is no need to contact Motability, or your Audi Centre, as this will be done automatically; and you will of course continue to be insured.

If you were planning to leave the Scheme at the end of your lease, please contact Motability to discuss arrangements.

Alongside the closure of showrooms, many Audi Centre's have also closed for service and repair although we have a backbone open for emergency and key workers.

The usual roadside assistance services (RAC) continue to be available should they be needed as are the insurance services (RSA Motability - RSAM).

Just as soon as we safely can we will re-open for new applications as well as arranging vehicle handovers.

We look forward to welcoming you to collect your new Audi when the scheme gets back up and running.

Are you eligible?

If you receive any of the following, you may be eligible to join the Motability Scheme:

  • The Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
  • The War Pensioners’ Mobility Allowance (WMPS)
  • The Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)

As long as you have 12 months of your award remaining, you’re guaranteed to be accepted, regardless of age. If you cannot or do not wish to drive, you can choose family members or friends to be the named drivers. Parents who have a child with a disability can also participate in the scheme.

Audi offers drivers with disabilities the opportunity to access a stylish new executive car through the Motability scheme, and Marshall Audi regularly runs Motability offers to reduce the cost.

Prices for the Motability scheme are set by Motability, but dealerships like Marshall Audi can sweeten the deal with cashback (for instance) to reduce any advanced payment required for your chosen vehicle. Motability is a registered charity enabling disabled people to lease a new car by exchanging their Government-funded mobility allowance.

Motability provides people with a brand new, worry-free car on a 3-year Contract Hire lease.

Included in the Motability package:

  • A new Audi every 3 years Insurance from RSA Motability (RSAM)
  • Breakdown assistance
  • Servicing, maintenance and repairs
  • Adaptations if required - many at no extra cost
Motability drivers can choose from the Audi A3 and Q2, with a limited range of engine options and trim levels available. This is because Motability places a limit on the value of the vehicles available through its scheme.

Our current offers can be found online and are updated regularly. To find out if you qualify for the Motability Scheme, or to get more advice on your options, make an appointment with one of the specialists at your nearest Marshall Audi dealership.
