When Italian car designer Walter de Silver conceived the alluring form of the new A5, he made a simple, yet powerful declaration; this is the “most beautiful car I have ever built”.

Ringing true across the range, the three body shapes of the new A5 are equally profound, while still showing off their own, distinct character.

The all-new A5 Coupe is sleek and curvaceous, combining a flowing, sporty silhouette with a powerful edge. The Sportback, meanwhile, offers the same provocative lines; but with the all-important functionality of a 5-door. Moving on to the Cabriolet, the thrill of top-down driving is blended with the convenience of top-up comfort; with a mere flick of a switch, the soft top will fully open in 15 seconds, or close in 18, at speeds of up to 31mph. The new A5 enjoys a similar design language to its predecessor, but with a more defined and commanding presence. The wheel arches are strong and projected, while a wide, engulfing grille makes an instant impact – especially when paired with its vibrant headlamps.

Inside, the new A5 is awash with sumptuous luxury, making every ride a pleasure. Twin-leather upholstery is provided as standard, alongside heated front seats, a multi-function 3-spoke leather steering wheel and Deluxe 3-zone electronic climate control. Comforting opulence isn’t all that makes a new Audi A5. The Coupe, Sportback and Cabriolet are brimming with the latest innovations, from driver assistance to infotainment. Conveniences such as Audi Parking System Plus take the stress out of everyday driving scenarios, while an Audi Sound System and Xenon headlights bring an extra dimension to your senses. One can also upgrade to intense and intelligent Matrix LED headlamps, which dip automatically when oncoming traffic is detected.
