Service and Maintenance

What servicing and maintenance do electric Audis need?

• Electric Audi vehicles require servicing every 2 years. For e-tron and e-tron Sportbacks, it's every 2 years or 18,000 miles - whichever is sooner.
• Audi offer a number of service plans that can be purchased.

What wear and tear can be expected for electric Audis?

• Depending on driving behaviour and the age of the car, typical parts affected by wear and tear can be tyres, brake pads and discs, and wiper blades.
• Tyre consumption may be higher due to higher weight and torque, but this will vary depending on driving style.

Will every Audi Centre offer Audi electric vehicles servicing? Or will certain services (e.g. battery) be only at specific centres?

• Yes, all centres offer electric vehicle servicing.
• In the rare situation that a repair to the battery is required, depending on the issue, the car may need to be sent to one of our High Voltage Specialist Centres. Your local Centre will let you know if this affects you.

What are the running costs of an electric Audi?

• Electricity is around two-thirds cheaper than petrol or diesel. According to UK Power, the average home electricity cost is currently 14.40p/kWh1
• Many electricity providers are even offering specific home electric vehicle tariffs which could make your running costs even cheaper.
• Audi has partnered with Octopus Energy, who offer the Octopus Go tariff specifically designed for households with fully electric and plug-in hybrid cars. If you’re a customer with a fully electric or plug-in hybrid Audi, you’ll receive up to a £90 credit on your Octopus Energy account when you switch.
• See how much you can save on running costs by downloading the EV&me app, it’s free and available on iOS and Android.
