Executive design

The Audi A4 Saloon has existed in its various guises and iterations for over 20 years now, but it's not hard to see the latest model as the culmination of everything that it stands for. The A4 Saloon is the epitome of stately elegance, with strong lines and edges that take pride in its bearing and effortlessly demonstrate its quality and class. The wide grille and narrow headlights accentuate the Saloon's focus on style and executive design, whilst the line of rear lights travels across the centre of the boot lid in an elegant flourish.

Impressive interior

Being an Audi, a brand synonymous with high levels of quality, the A4's interior is as impressive as expected, as the entire cabin is decked out with plush materials and sleek edging. Each of the three trim options also comes with its own unique touches, such as different steering wheel styles and inlay materials. The SE model comes with a three-spoke leather steering wheel and aluminium inlays, the Sport trim adds a sport steering wheel and the S Line comes with matt brushed aluminium inlays and a leather sport steering wheel with perforated grips.

Engines and efficiency

The Audi A4 Saloon comes with a choice of both petrol and diesel options, but it's the diesel engines that really give it its green credentials.

Technology and safety

The Audi A4 Saloon comes with Bluetooth connectivity, DAB digital radio, a CD player and voice control as standard, as well as deluxe triple-zone electronic climate control. Meanwhile the Sport and S Line trims both come equipped with a satellite navigation system displayed on a seven-inch screen that can be easily controlled via a dial, with shortcut keys making common functions easy to access. You can also add Audi's virtual cockpit as an extra, transforming the driver's instrument panel into a 12.3-inch display.

The A4 Saloon is also exceptionally safe, and has been awarded a five-star crash rating from Euro NCAP.
