The Reserve Online facility gives you the ability to take more control of your buying journey – and reserve a vehicle from the comfort of your own home.
Once you have found your ideal vehicle from one of 113 retailers, you can reserve a vehicle for just £99. This is fully refundable should you change your mind within the agreed reservation period.
Please see our Terms & Conditions (below). However, we would like to try and help you before you amend or cancel your reservation - you can speak to a member of our sales team and they will happily process any amendments/refund/transfer your reservation fee to another vehicle.
We use a secured verified payment provider which utilises encrypted software protecting your card payment details. Our payment provider, Stripe, has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. We do not store any of your card details.
These terms and conditions are designed to provide clarity around the payment terms and conditions when You (“our customer”) pay a Reservation Fee to Marshall Motor Group Limited or one of its subsidiary companies through its website www.marshall.co.uk or over the telephone (by communicating with a member of our sales team). For a full list of all of our dealerships please refer to our website.
The purpose of paying a Reservation Fee is to enable You to reserve a vehicle (the “reserved vehicle”) for a short period of time to give You the opportunity to visit the dealership where the vehicle is located so that You can decide whether You want to purchase the reserved vehicle which is the subject of the Reservation Fee. At the point of payment, You are not committing to buy the vehicle and the Reservation Fee is fully refundable should You decide that You do not wish to proceed with the vehicle purchase.
The Reservation Fee payable is £99 (“ninety nine pounds”) and we accept a variety of payment methods. Once the Reservation Fee has been -paid, we will take the vehicle off sale for a period of 48 hours (the “reservation period”) commencing at the time the Reservation Fee is paid and ending 48 hours later. As our dealerships are open 7 days a week, Sundays and bank holidays are included in calculating the reservation period. Any day we are closed, such as Easter Sunday and/or Christmas Day, will be deducted from the 48 hours cancellation period.
Upon payment of your Reservation Fee you are agreeing for a member of our sales team to contact you by email, telephone or any other reasonable method with a view to making an appointment for you to visit the dealership where the vehicle is located and/or discuss the vehicle that you have reserved. If you subsequently request us to move the vehicle to a different location from its current dealership, then a transportation cost may be payable depending on the circumstances but only if we have advised you of the additional transportation cost before you paid your reservation fee. Please discuss your requirements directly with a member of our sales team. Please note any transportation cost is in addition to the Reservation Fee and is not refundable.
Once we are notified that you have paid a Reservation Fee, we will take the vehicle off sale for a period of up to 48 hours. After that period has expired, we reserve the right to put the vehicle back up for sale with notice.
After viewing the vehicle, if you decide that you do not want to go ahead with the purchase, then we will refund your Reservation Fee in full (£99) by the same method that you selected to pay it. We will do this as soon as possible but within 10 working days.
Please note that Your Reservation Fee is not a deposit and does not constitute a contract of sale or contract of supply for the vehicle. If, however you decide you want to go ahead and purchase the vehicle, and place an Order (the “Order”) with us, then the Reservation Fee can be converted into Your deposit at Your request (or count as part payment towards your deposit).

Yes, you can use your part exchange as all or part of your deposit towards your car, van or bike purchase. However, if there is outstanding finance on your part exchange this will have to be settled by us as part of the transaction. Any amount left after settlement of your finance can be used towards your deposit. Please speak to a member of our sales team who will be able to assist you with this process.
All makes and models are taken in part exchange.
If your vehicle is valued more than the vehicle you would like to purchase and there is no outstanding finance on it, we will happily give you back the difference. This would be paid to you after taking delivery of your new vehicle.
Yes, assuming you have described your part exchange accurately, answered all the questions correctly and read our terms and conditions regarding part exchange your value will be guaranteed.
Yes, you can remove your part exchange from your order at any time prior to your vehicle handover. You would then have to pay us the agreed value of the part-exchange instead.
Yes, if both the vehicles are owned by you, or you have the written permission of the owner to use the vehicle as part of your order. Our sales team will be able to help you in this scenario.
