13th October 2017
Marshall Motor Group are pleased to announce their participation in ‘Hats On 4 Mental Health Day’; a fundraising event to back BEN, the automotive industry’s support service.
Marshall colleagues topped off their look on Friday the 13th of October by donning a hat for the day, and raising much-needed funds in the process. Whether it’s a beanie or beret, flat cap or fedora, there wasn’t be a bad hair day in sight.
Every participant donated at least £1 into the pot for BEN, which will in turn help the charity to support those who are struggling with their mental health. In addition, the event hopes to not only raise awareness of mental health issues in general, but the fact that BEN are always ready to help those in need; and they’re only ever a phone call away.
Don’t keep a lid on mental health concerns – Speak up.
In 2016, ‘Hats On 4 Mental Health Day’ raised a fantastic £13,000 – A total we would love to see exceeded this year.
The figurehead of this year’s campaign is BEN Charity Ambassador, Mike Brewer; presenter of the TV show ‘Wheeler Dealers’, as well as being a journalist, producer and campaigner. Taking place during the week of World Mental Health Day (10th of October), it was great to help to make a difference.
