Demonstrating true passion for Corporate Social Responsibility, Marshall are excited to kick off yet another prosperous BEN Week.
BEN help to support employees of the motor industry in the four pillars of health and wellbeing; financial, physical, mental and social. A rock to many who need a little extra help, Marshall are proud to show their thanks to BEN with a week of charity fundraising, between the 14th and 18th of August.
Last year, the combined efforts of the Marshall sites saw a massive £17,000 raised towards the cause; this was added to the superb £151,000 in total which was donated in aid of CEO Daksh Gupta’s skydive, where he gallantly threw himself out of a plane at 20,000 feet as part of the BEN Industry Leaders Challenge. With no sign of slowing the pace, the Challenge will this year be taken up by Jeremy Hicks, MD of Jaguar Land Rover; alongside 11 JLR colleagues, including Marshall JLR Franchise Director Adrian Wallington, the courageous team will be swimming the English Channel this month. With a target of £160,000 to hit, the group are all training extremely hard for the mammoth task. We can’t wait for them to make a splash on the day.
Centres across Marshall Motor Group will be helping in their own way towards the wider cause, with cake sales, dress down days and sporting challenges expected to raise not only a pot of hard-earned donations, but some well-deserved laughs as well.
