Marshall Motor Group have announced that from Monday 23rd May 2016, all new Sales Executives will be employed on a first year guarantee of £25,000.
The move has been made in response to the industry-wide issue of Sales Executive attrition. The guarantee is made irrespective of applicant’s previous experience. New hires will also receive retention bonuses : £1,000 will be paid on the second anniversary of their start date and £2,000 on the third anniversary.
The new recruitment drive is underpinned by a new training programme. All new starter Sales Executives will attend a mandatory training programme for their first two weeks with the company, which will deliver them motivated, inducted, compliant and skilled when they arrive in the dealership on week three. Marshall expects that the programme will also assist their strategy to recruit ‘new to industry’ Sales Executives.
